About Honeycomb 607

Honeycomb 607 began as a way to keep my hands busy—but quickly became something much more.

Crochet has been a steady companion through college lectures, long travel days, and quiet moments in between. It gave purpose to restless hands and turned small pockets of time into something tangible. What started as handmade gifts for friends and family gradually grew into something others wanted to be part of—leading to custom orders and, eventually, a small business.

Over time, the process evolved. While custom orders were once a large part of Honeycomb 607, the brand has shifted toward small-batch collections. This allows each piece to be created with intention, while keeping the work sustainable alongside full-time commitments. Each release reflects what I feel called to create, rather than what is requested—keeping the process personal and creatively fulfilling.

This craft was first passed down from my grandmother, making every piece part of a larger story. The business itself took shape in Ithaca, New York, and now continues to grow and evolve in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania—while still making the occasional appearance back in Ithaca.

The name Honeycomb reflects the foundation of the brand: small, individual pieces coming together to create something larger. Much like each stitch builds a finished piece, small actions—whether handmade work or collective giving—can create meaningful impact over time.
